By using a successful PPC campaign, you can easily determine your return on investment (ROI). For example, your company sells blue widgets, for an average price of $50.00. How much of that $50 would you be willing to spend in order to generate a single sale you otherwise would not have received? Well, if your profit on each sale is $10, then it reasons to be that you would be willing to spend something less than $10 to gain that sale. So when evaluating your PPC campaign, it will be important that you your total clicks per sale costs less than $10. Said another way, if I told you for each $5 in PPC, you would generate one sale, you would gladly take that sale, leaving you at $5 profit per sale.
